The Florida Annual Conference is seeking a Managing Director of Connectional Relations to provide strategic direction and leadership of the conference connectional relations ministry. Key responsibilities include implementing effective communication strategies, shaping content that reaches target audiences, crisis communication and project management. Strong preference for candidates who are familiar with UMC’s denominational polity and organizational structure. Bachelor’s degree w/5+ yrs experience in PR, journalism or related field. Bridwell Library of Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University is accepting applications for the 2010-2011 Visiting Scholars and Ministers Fellowships. Six one-month fellowships, including $3000 stipend, will be awarded. The program is open to all active scholars from Ph.D. students to retired professors, and to religious leaders of all faiths.
